Raised in a single-parent home with limited resources and support, Elexus faced challenges early on that led her to embark on a psychological journey as a young teen mother. She understands intimately how life's difficulties can render one feeling defeated and overwhelmed. Determined not to become just another statistic, she tapped into her inner strength, driving herself towards the fulfillment of her dreams.

Elexus has obtained her Master's in Counseling from Texas Wesleyan University and has achieved over ten years of experience working with adolescents in various settings, adults of all ages, and families affected by trauma and mental health issues. Beyond her professional life, she has been married for more than a decade and is the mother of two remarkable sons and a high spirited daughter. Additionally, Elexus is the proud owner of an exuberant golden retriever named Lucky. Her personal journey of healing has taught her the significance of empowerment and compassion in navigating life's challenges.
